Our Vision

A local church changing the nation for God’s glory,

Our Mission

To invite all generations to explore faith, encounter God’s presence and be released to advance His Kingdom.

Our Beliefs

The Scripture

We believe all scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is therefore the infallible Word of God.  II Timothy 3:16II Peter 1:21

The Godhead

We believe there is one living, true, eternal and everlasting God, of infinite power, wisdom and goodness, the Maker and Preserver of all things, visible and invisible, and that this one true God has revealed Himself to the world as the Father, as the Son, and as the Holy Spirit.  John 14:7-11Colossians 2:9John 14:16-20II John 5:20

Jesus Christ, The Son of God

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, was God manifest in the flesh, took upon Himself the form of man, that He might offer Himself a sacrifice on the Cross of Calvary for the sins of the whole world.  We believe no man can come unto the Father but by and through the Lord Jesus Christ, and His shed blood.  John 1:18I Timothy 3:16John 14:6

Repentance

We believe in repentance to God, confession of ourselves as sinners and that a definite turning is essential to salvation.  Acts 17:3026:2011:182:38-39I Thessalonians 1:9-10

Judgment on Adam and the Whole Human Family

We believe all mankind become sinners as a result of the fall of Adam.  Romans 5:123:23I Corinthians 15:22-23

The Lord's Supper of Communion

We believe that all Followers of Christ should partake of the Communion of the Lord’s Supper, in remembrance of His death until He comes again.  Luke 22:19-20Matthew 26:29I Corinthians 11:23-24

The Fruit of the Spirit and Godly Living

We believe all Spirit-filled believers should produce the fruit of the Spirit in their lives and their walk should be according to godliness and holy living.  Galatians 5:22-23I John 2:6I Peter 1:16Titus 2:11-13II Corinthians 7:1

Second Coming of Christ

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ will return in person, first in the clouds of the air to catch away His own unto Himself, and later to return with all His saints to set up His millennium reign on the earth.  Acts 1:10-11I Thessalonians 4:16-17Jude 14&15Revelation 19:11-1620:1-6

Rewards

We believe the Bible clearly teaches a distinct judgment for believers only, spoken of in the scriptures as the Judgment Seat of Christ, where believer’s works will be judged, (not for their sins) and rewards are in question, not salvation.  II Corinthians 5:10I Corinthians 3:11-15Revelation 20:4-61

Justification and Redemption

We believe our redemption has been accomplished solely by the shed blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, who was made sin for us, dying in our room and stead, rising again from the dead, ascending with His glorified body to the right hand of God, and by believing in this finished work, we are justified before God, cleansed of all our sins and redeemed from the curse of the law.  John 3:3Romans 5:114:21Galatians 2:163:13I Peter 1:18-19Titus 2:14Revelation 5:9

Eternal Life

We believe every believer receives Eternal Life as a free gift when saved or born again.  Romans 6:23John 5:2410:28

Water Baptism

We believe in water baptism in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ by immersion for believers as taught in the scripture, and practiced by the early Apostolic Church.  Matthew 28:19Acts 2:388:1610:4819:5Romans 6:3-6Colossians 2:12I Peter 3:21

Baptism of the Holy Spirit

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, with the same Bible evidence of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, as a distinct separate and subsequent experience to conversion, and is the enduement of spiritual power for Christian living and service.  Also that it is the standard of normal Christian experience since Pentecost.  Mark 16:16-17I Corinthians 14:21Isaiah 28:11-12Luke 24:49John 14:15-17Acts 1:82:410:44-4619:1-6

Divine Healing

We believe healing is in the atonement and that God is still the Healer of His people, and that the church should recognize and practice this ministry as directed by the Lord Himself and practiced by his Apostles.  Exodus 15:26Isaiah 53:5Mark 16:18James 5:14-15Hebrews 13:8;

Gifts of the Spirit

We believe the nine gifts of the Spirit should be manifest in the Church today and that all Spirit filled believers should earnestly covet the best gifts for the edification and upbuilding of the church.  I Corinthians 12:8-1114:1

Marriage

We believe in the sanctity of marriage, as a life long exclusive commitment between one man and one woman.  Matthew 19:4-6.

The Final Judgement

We believe that there will be a great final judgment, as recorded in the Word of God.  Hebrews 9:27Revelation 20:11-15.  This is the judgment of the unjust where all the wicked are judged

History of Regina Apostolic Church

In the early 1920’s a small group of people banded together to pray for a Pentecostal work in Regina. God answered that prayer through raising up evangelists and leaders who established the Apostolic Mission (1739 Scarth Street), which has now become Regina Apostolic Church. Over the years God has continued to be gracious allowing us to witness miracles, signs, and wonders, including unique seasons of growth, expansion and provision as we have continued to follow God’s leading and stepping out in faith.

Our Affiliation

Regina Apostolic Church is affiliated with the Apostolic Church of Pentecost (ACOP), a fellowship of churches that is united to be a global movement of passionate people extending God’s grace and igniting hope in every community. We are aligned with ACOP’s statement of faith, positions and practices. You can find the document here.
