Pastors Rick & Linda Parkyn were inducted as Senior Pastors at a special worship service on September 8th, 2002. Former Pastor Merv Switzer and his wife Mary, transferred the anointing for Leadership to Pastor Rick and his wife, Linda. They have come to the Regina Apostolic Church bringing their own unique ministries and gifts. Both are accomplished musicians and have ministered together in Praise and Worship Seminars. Both Rick & Linda graduated from the Full Gospel Bible Institute in Eston, SK and received their credentials through the Apostolic Church of Pentecost.

Married in 1970, they pastored in Punnichy and Kipling, SK before moving to Kamloops, B.C. where they pastored for eighteen years.

In 1996 the Parkyns moved to Calgary where Rick assumed the position of Missions Director for the Apostolic Church of Pentecost. During this time Rick traveled to 23 countries holding crusades, teaching and supporting the work of missions. As well as having pastoral experience, Pastor Rick is also a very competent traveling evangelist. It was during this time in Calgary that Linda accepted a place of leadership with Apostolic Women's Ministries becoming the National President. She continues to hold this position, traveling and speaking to AWM groups across Canada. She will also bring greetings at the Apostolic Congress of Ministries in Zimbabwe this spring.

In 1999 Rick and Linda founded Charis Ministries International. During their time in this prophetic ministry they ministered together internationally as conference and camp speakers. They move in the prophetic and together have an effective altar ministry both physically and spiritually. As well as revival services they have ministered in marriage seminars and in leadership development.

Together Rick and Linda minister prophetically both to the corporate body and to individuals. Their emphasis is on the prophetic gifts and feel that each believer should develop and operate in their unique gifts. They bring an exciting word to the body of Christ!
